European Microwave Week 2023 Preview

Though not meteorologically correct, I think we can all agree that September is the beginning of Autumn, and with that the attention of the Microwave world turns to European Microwave Week (EuMW).  This year’s Conference is in Berlin, Germany, from September 17 to September 22, with a clever theme of “Waves Beyond Walls”.

 

While thought of as one Conference, EuMW is 3 different conferences.  EuMW 2023 includes the European Microwave Conference (EuMC), the European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference (EuMIC) and the European Radar Conference (EuRAD).  Additionally, there are 3 topic-specific forums (Defense, Security & Space, Automotive and 5G to 6G) along with Workshops, Poster Sessions, Short Courses, Technical Sessions, Awards and of course, a long list of social events.  EuMW General Chair Thomas Zwick, Co-Chair Vadim Issakov and their team have assembled an extraordinary week.  Truly, there is something for everyone.

 

The Conference kicks off on Sunday September 17 and closes on Friday September 22.  A full listing of events, activities and anything else you may need can be found on their website, www.eumweek.com.  The Exhibition portion is Tuesday September 19, Wednesday September 20 and Thursday September 21.  Conference organizers expect over 300 exhibitors and well over 3500 attendees.  EuMW is THE Conference for our industry in Europe – it is not to be missed.
